Excellent food quality at a great price point. Kiya is tucked in a strip mall but don't let the appearance fool you. It does get quite busy in there but the staff helps accommodate by moving tables around if needed. The fish was very fatty and melt in the mouth. I got the dream box thinking it would be sashimi pieces in each box but there were some uni pieces, masago, oyster, and a fish cake type. I thought some pieces were a bit too fishy for my taste. You also get the option of shrimp soup or having it grilled. I opted for the soup version. The broth was very tasty - it looked like a miso base. The other two in my party got the tuna tataki salad and a sashimi set. Both looked delicious and they said they really enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back the next time I am in town!

Kiya is consistently good, featuring very fresh rolls and good deals. I especially enjoy their California roll and Tamago Nigiri. The service is prompt and everyone is friendly. I believe the prices are reasonable and they have lunch specials during the day. It is a fair sized sushi place, a bit on the smaller side. Seating is comfortable.

It's been a year since my initial review during soft opening, so I wanted to check back in and say that we have eaten here or ordered to-go many many times since. The sushi is consistently well-prepared, with generous portions and good presentation. Lunch specials are a good value, and service is always cheerful and efficient. We pretty much always get various rolls (favorites are the big scallop roll, lion king, Sakura, and negi hama) and sometimes a chicken teriyaki bento, and have never been disappointed. Please support this restaurant whenever you're in the neighborhood!

I love this spot! It's a bit of a hole in the wall spot in a plaza packed with different foods and random shops and stores. Their staff didn't talk much, but they were quick to take orders, take away plates, and get to our tables as needed. The quality of the fish is incredibly impressive, and they serve it so quickly too! My favorite thing overall from Kiya was the deluxe hand roll, which was packed with otoro and bits of roe and uni. The wasabi on top added a nice layer of texture and flavor to an already flavorful hand roll. I think I would go without the salmon skin handroll as it tasted more of overcooked salmon skin chopped up into small pieces, which made it a messy to eat. The spider hand roll was delicious and made for a wonderful smaller alternative to the usual spider roll. The shrimp tempura was freshly fried and was not soggy at all! Excited to come back and check out their dream boxes :)
